Generally speaking, the exercise on November 1 across the length and breath of the country can not be described as a failure. Media reports on that day were full of praise for the citizens for showing love for their country. However, I was particularly sad when the participation in such a national exercise by the people in the Sekondi-Takoradi metropolis was described as very poor and not encouraging. Reasons included lack of awareness, low publicity, etc.

Please I am suggesting to the STMA authorities to intensify campaign on this at least a week before.
